Structured Cabling System Our experienced technicians offer Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP), Shielded Twisted Pair (STP), Screened Twisted Pair (SCTP) or Foiled Twisted Pair (FTP) structured cabling system which consist of outlets supplied as either one or two RJ45 connectors mounted in a standard single gang faceplate or as single snap in modules which can be fitted into surface mount boxes or single/ double gang faceplates. We use category 6 cable that address additional transmission performance characterization required by structured cabling system developers to support bi-directional and full four-pair transmission schemes. For effective operation of the system, we use multi-core optical cables for data backbone cables and multi-pair copper cables for the voice backbone cables. Structured Wiring Components 1. Horizontal Cabling We do a number of checks and considerations on selecting the right cabling for running in the wall as Plenum (CMP) or Riser rated (CMR) cables meets certain burn ratings, Stranded cable is designed for patch cables and also put a lot of care not to hurt system performance especially when setting up high-speed networks. 2. Patch Cables We connect the structured cabling system to the back of the user outlet using RJ 45 connector while complying with EIA/TIA and ISO standard. Patch cables are on the other hand used to connect your computer to the wall plate. 3. Wall Plates During our installation we use a variety of styles and designed to meet your wall plates demand. The basic plain white plates with only one or two jacks or modular systems that can be configured to support audio, video, telephone and network connections all in one plate are the most commonly used. 4. Patch Panels and Rack Cabinets Our skilled Technicians always ensure that the patch panel installed matches the performance rating of the installed patch cables connecting the IP PBX (server) and the Network switches. Cable managers/ ties are used to organize cables running in the wiring closet on a patch panel. The Insulation Displacement Connection (IDC) Patch Panels have connectors on the rear for terminating the horizontal cables and to provide an RJ45 presentation on the front for patching. These Patch Panels are either mounted in wall mounted or free standing rack cabinets. These Patch Panels and Cross Connect hardware are the means to connect station cables with jumper cables, active equipment to the UTP network, identify circuits for structured cabling system management, access point for circuit testing and monitoring, and access point connection of the wiring within the network. 5.
